As far back as my memory allows, I can remember singing along with the radio. Somewhere along the way, someone teamed me up with a girl from a neighboring community who played guitar and sang. That friendship with Carol (Wentzell) Penney has continued to this day. After our marriages, our lives went in different directions, I moved away, and my love for music took me on a path that led me to my first recording session which took place in Toronto. Who would have ever guessed that from that first session, I would have a number one song in Canada and a Gold Record. I eventually re-recorded Testing 1-2-3, on my own label.
