When “Two Step On Saturday Night” was released, line dancing was the biggest craze at that time. Lisa and Avan Joudrey choreographed a line dance, The Saturday Night Sizzle, specifically for the song. Not only was line dancing big in North America, but overseas it was just as popular. Dancers from Sweden learned the line dance by watching the video and when I performed near Stockholm, Sweden, a group of dancers traveled from Umea in northern Sweden, over 1000 km away, to see me live. Another bus load came from near by Stockholm. They knew the dance inside out. As I sang the song and danced the line dance with them, I don’t know who was more excited about the whole experience, them or me.
